Custom tile showers in Pinellas County
Walk-in, curbless and tub-to-shower conversions, built from the waterproofing up so the beauty lasts.
Request a quoteA tiled shower is one of the best upgrades you can make to a Florida home, and one of the easiest to get wrong. The most important part of a shower is the part you never see: the preparation and waterproofing behind the tile.
We build showers for homes in Pinellas Park and across Pinellas County, from simple tub-to-shower conversions to walk-in and curbless designs with niches and benches.

Why the work behind the tile matters
Most people, and even some contractors, believe tile and grout are waterproof. They are not. Water that gets past the tile has to be guided to the drain, not into your walls and subfloor.
In a humid climate like ours, a shower that is not properly prepared can show it as mildew in the grout joints or damaged drywall and baseboard next to the shower. By the time water damage is visible, the damage inside the wall has often been going on for a long time, and the only real fix is a full tear-out.
The Tile Council of North America (TCNA) publishes several approved methods for preparing and waterproofing a shower. We choose the right one for your tile, your bathroom and your budget, and we never skip steps.
Building a shower is like baking a cake
You can't skip steps and expect it to turn out well. Some cakes look great and taste bad; some taste great and look bad. A good shower has to be both beautiful and built right, and that takes a careful, step-by-step process.
Five questions to ask any shower contractor
A tiled shower is a big investment, so take your time choosing both the tile and the contractor. Ask every contractor you talk to:
- Do you specialize in tiled showers?
- What will you use to waterproof the walls and the shower pan?
- Will you flood test the shower pan before tiling?
- Does the maker of the installation products offer a system warranty?
- What happens if something goes wrong after the job is done?

Questions about showers
How long does a tile shower take?
It depends on the size, the tile and what we find when the old shower comes out. Waterproofing and mortar need time to cure, so a properly built shower takes longer than a "shower in a day". We give you a timeline with your quote.
Can you replace my bathtub with a walk-in shower?
Yes. Tub-to-shower conversions are one of the most common projects in Pinellas County homes. If it is the only tub in the house, we will talk through resale before you decide.
