Luxury vinyl plank, LVT and laminate flooring
Luxury vinyl plank and tile (LVP and LVT) and laminate floors: affordable, comfortable and quick to install.
Request a quoteLuxury vinyl and laminate give you the look of wood or stone at a lower cost, and they are softer and warmer underfoot than tile. We install luxury vinyl plank (LVP), luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and laminate in homes across Pinellas County.
LVP and LVT
Luxury vinyl is a good fit for Florida homes: most products are water resistant or waterproof, they hold up to kids, pets and sand, and they are comfortable to stand on. Planks (LVP) look like wood; tiles (LVT) look like stone or ceramic.
Laminate
Laminate has a hard, scratch-resistant wear layer and a realistic wood look. Many newer laminates are water resistant, but most are not meant for wet areas like full bathrooms. We will help you pick the right product for each room.
Floor prep still matters
Floating floors need a flat subfloor. High and low spots in a slab cause planks to flex, click joints to separate and floors to sound hollow. We check flatness, fix it where needed, and use the right moisture barrier or underlayment for a slab in our humid climate.

Questions about luxury vinyl & laminate
Is luxury vinyl better than tile?
It depends on the room and your priorities. Tile is the most durable and works anywhere, inside or out. Luxury vinyl costs less, installs faster and is softer underfoot. We are happy to talk through both.
Can LVP go over my existing tile?
Sometimes, if the tile is flat, solidly bonded and the grout lines are filled. Otherwise, we remove the tile first.
