Nothing feels quite like real wood. We install hardwood floors in homes across Pinellas County, and we take extra care with moisture, because wood and Florida humidity need to be introduced properly.

Engineered or solid?

Engineered hardwood has a real wood top layer over a stable core. It moves less with changes in humidity and can be glued or floated over a concrete slab, so it is usually the best choice for slab-on-grade Florida homes. Solid hardwood is a great choice over a wood subfloor.

Moisture and acclimation

Before we install, we test the slab or subfloor for moisture and let the flooring acclimate to your home as the manufacturer requires. Skipping these steps is how wood floors cup, gap or buckle.

Fireplace tile and finishing details

We also tile fireplace surrounds and hearths, and handle the transitions, stair nosings and trim that make a new floor look finished.
